Finding Families

This story was told by the daighter of a friend of ours:

My sweet, precious [daughter] has a degenerative muscle disease. The doctors are amazed that she is continent. Sometimes if you don't get her to the bathroom in time she has an accident. She shared with me about a time when she was 5 year old (she is now 6)

[daughter]: No one help [me]. I say help me! Help me! Nobody help me. I poop my pants. Ayi slappa me. I crying, crying. I think that, "Mommy why you leave me? Why you no come back-ah me? Mommy come back-ah me. Come back-ah me."

[Mom]: Your Ayi slapped you because you pooped your pants?

[daughter]: Yeah. (tears in her eyes) She say [me] no good girl. She laugha me. Ouchy so ouchy. But you Mom, you say when pee my pants, "Its okay [daughter]. We can change-ah your pants. Its just peepee."

How many children waiting for families will cry tonight, "Mommy why you leave me? Why you no come back-ah me? Mommy come-ah back. Come back-ah me?"

Help us find families for these children. Brady and Henry still wait. Take a moment and share their link.

Like them, love them, share them,

Craig

Recent Brady Photos

These new photos were just discovered by a friend and forwarded. Brady is just an amazing boy with a huge heart waiting for his family.

I love his attempt at sign language. I believe he really would love to send the "I Love You" message to his Mama. It's only going to reach Brady's Mama if the link gets forwarded to her. Take a moment and share.

Like him, love him, and share him!

Thanks on Brady's behalf,

Craig

P.S. Stay tuned as I'm trying to get some more photos that were taken within the last couple week.

Our Dossier goes to China and those who wait.

Our dossier arrived in China on monday August 27, 2012 after overcoming many obstacles. We are so excited to be bringing Lia and Sean home. December? January?  The clock is ticking for us and the kids....  We started this process in May 2011 and are ready for them to come home.

Sean is the young fellow in the yellow jacket in this video.  He is a busy fellow who has much to learn about being in a family as he has never had one that he can remember.  We've learned that one of the trio in the video, the young fellow in the red jacket, will be leaving with his new family about the same time as Sean. Maybe we'll even meet there!!  Either way, within a month, 7 year old Brady in the center will lose his 2 best buddies.

This is a bit odd to me because it seems clear to me that Brady is the natural leader.  I expected he would already have a family.  When you watch the video the other 2 boys follow Brady's every move. He clearly knows the song the best and just fills the make shift stage with his personality.  Brady needs a family to unleash all that personality.  I can hear him singing in the shower.  I can imagine him hunting caterpillars in the tomato plants, and i can see the smile on his mother's face as Brady puts all the love in that huge heart of his in a ninja picture for his mom.

Let's clear the stage  Don't leave him behind. Please take a moment to share Brady's link in all your social circles.

For more info, contact myself (myfamilyfoundme@yahoo.com) or Children's House International with Brady in the subject line. I don't think he is tied to an agency but we do want to find him a family. We would LOVE to hear from you.

Like him, love him and share him.

Craig.

Henry needs a Family

Baseball, soccer, marching band. Who knows what Henry can do. Father/Son outings, long walks to the donut shop, bouncing on the trampoline, learning to swim, trying to ski... How much fun he would be. This young man needs a family.

Henry is a bright and friendly 13 year old who has so much to offer his family.  He just needs a little help finding them.  He's out there pounding the streets doing what he can to find that one special family but needs your help. In his country if he doesn't have an adoption final before he turns 14, he is not elligable to be adopted.  So he relies on people like you and I to help. And his time is running Very short.

Henry has been waiting for a very long and has watched as many of his younger roommates have been adopted and leave. The children who have come from his orphanage have nothing but praise about this special youn man. Kind, friendly, loving, caring, hard working.

lots of info is available about Henry. All you need to do to help him find his family is to click on the share buttons at the end of or adjacent to this blog and share him on your social media: Facebook, Twitter, Google, email, or any other media. Through the miricle of the Internet it takes less time to share than it does to read his story. Henry will love you and his family will love you.

For more info, contact myself (myfamilyfoundme@yahoo.com) or Children's House International with Henry in the subject line. We would LOVE to hear from you.

Thanks so much,

Craig

Thank you for taking action & Good News

First, the good news: Jackie, and Beau have found families who are busy now with their paperwork. On about the same day that Jackie found his family, another 13 year old boy who I had not featured yet, Joseph, also found a family.  These 2 older boys were giving up hope as their friends left one by one and they were left there waiting. In the not to distant future, they will learn of their new families and their burdens will be lifted. Beau, is too young to understand. But when he is older he will understand the great blessing you have given him.

I generally do not ever know the specifics of the families but invite their families to post in the comments regarding their story if they are inclined. Adoption is a miricle. It starts with the matching of children to families and, therefore,  is a direct result of people like you who like them, love them, share them; blog, talk, and encircle them with compassion.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Craig

P.S.  The chase is not over and I ask you to not back off. We have many more children waiting. Many will only find families with your help.

Comimg ip soon: More Henry...

Great morning for Beau-development update.

This morning an update came in for Beau with nothing but good news. To start off we have updated photos. He is growing into a fine young fellow.

Next, the impression he made on a visitor in March of this year:
"This boy just makes me beam. How I enjoyed chasing balloons with Beau in his play room in March 2012. He has a giggle that lights up your heart."

Third, he is currently recovering from surgery in July to straighten his feet. You will note the casts on his legs....but not as much as the fun radiating from his face.

Fourth, a development update. According to the experts he is as smart as anyone his age and is talking up a storm. (He is apparently asking for his Mama.) He's a friendly little bug and is bonding well with his care takers and other children.

Fifth his resistance is strong and he rarely gets sick.

According to his caretakers, he has a "ready smile and a powerful personality," he's fat (which I assume means he needs his cheeks squeezed) and he loves a good cookie!

All in all, he's just an amazing kid waiting for his family but he is waiting for his family. Now that his concerns are being addressed, it should be easier for us to find his family. If you've read this, please take 30 seconds and share it somehow with someone you know in some kind of way.

Thanks. And as always, like him, love him an share him,

 Craig

P.S.  Help raise adoption awareness of these special needs and older children by shareing the link: click the Facebook, Twitter, G+1, Blogger, or email icons below or adjacent to this blog. Thanks!
